Top pick: #4 (CLUB O R) (6-1) - She had a troubled trip in her well bet debut at Saratoga on Aug. 27. Home bred has been working nicely since and trainer Rick Violette Jr. is adding blinkers. Has a shot at a square price.
nd pick: #6 (Bernstein Flame) (12-1) - Home bred also had a less than ideal trip when debuting at the Spa Aug. 14. Working fast since and think she's a threat at long odds.
rd pick: #1 (She's Roman) (4-1) - Daughter of "Corinthian" raced evenly when debuting at Saratoga Aug. 27. Bet down to 5-2 favoritism that day, trainer Mike Dilger (25% 2nd time out) has worked her three times since and John Velazquez stays aboard.
th pick: #5 (Miss Potenza) (5-1) - She missed by a 1/2 length racing at this level at Saratoga Aug. 27. Race was run in slow time and the figure earned wasn't much. Can factor but will need to step it up some.
th pick: #3 (Zo Zo) (9-2) - Filly drops in class, moves from grass to dirt, and cuts back in distance. She's been bet heavily in two of three appearances and probably has more talent than shown to date.
