Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (PURE MICHIGAN) (7-2) - Very lightly-raced 4-year-old hasn't seen action since March 11 of 2017. Sharp in all three starts, filly is training well above average for her new trainer (Jon Thomas). He has her nicely spotted, Javier Castellano is aboard, and she can win this if ready.
2nd pick: #7 (Votre Coeur) (9-2) - Mare rallied while extremely wide to finish fourth of 10, beaten 2 lengths gong 6 furlongs here at this level April 19. It was her first in four months, first off a Rudy Rodriguez claim, and a fast and/or contested pace would help her late running style out.
3rd pick: #3 (Cause Me Grief) (4-1) - Another that's been very lightly-raced, filly ships from Kentucky where she missed by a 1/2 length May 1 at Churchill at this distance facing a bit weaker. A career best, it was her first on the grass and her trainer (Wesley Ward) is having an outstanding meet at 9-for-24 (38%). Speedy 3-year-old must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Questeq) (12-1) - Long shot rallied to finish third here at this level going 8.5 furlongs May 6. She tends to 'hang' a bit in the final furlong but is capable of getting a minor award at a big price.
