Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (WEALTH CREATION) (2-1) - Well bred and expensive ($250K) daughter of 'Super Saver' ships from Gulfstream where she tired at this distance April 17. It was her first start since a near miss facing better last June at Monmouth Park. Trainer Chad Brown has worked her four times since and has Javier Castellano aloft. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Amazing Annie) (5-1) - New York bred has the rail and is dropping into a straight claimer for the first time. She finished second at this trip April 6 at Aqueduct in her first start in almost seven months. However, she ran both wide and evenly in her follow up race here May 14 going seven furlongs. A strong win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #5 (Cap's Vow) (7-2) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old showed nothing here at this level May 6 on a sloppy surface in a contest that was switched off the turf. Strong finishers racing off a five month layoff and first off a Michelle Nevin claim. Back on the grass, this daughter of 'Broken Vow' would love a fast/an or contested pace to develop.
4th pick: #3 (Killarney Rose) (5-1) - A bit light on the figure side, that's compensated by the fact that she has early speed in a rather paceless race on paper. Mare is dangerous if allowed to set slow fractions while in front.
