Top pick: #4 (MAGNIFCENTMILLION) (6-5) - Colt was bet heavily in his only start last Nov. at Aqueduct and son of "Henny Hughes" raced evenly while racing wide facing New York-bred special weights. On the sidelines since, trainer Rudy Rodriguez (30% off of long layoffs) drops him way down for his return and 3yo faces a weak field.
2nd pick: #7 (Broadway Hat) (3-1) - He's from the "red hot" barn of Dave Jacobson and this colt has some early speed. Originally cost $220K and began his career in the Pletcher barn. The main danger, and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Hoppy Do) (10-1) - He comes off an even effort going a mile on the grass for a $20K tag and will drop down a bit, move back to the dirt, and shorten up in distance.
4th pick: #2 (Vice Squad) (12-1) - He's improving, is lightly raced, and like "Hoppy", he goes turf to dirt and cuts back in distance.
