Top pick: #6 (LEILANI'S TICKET) (2-1) - New York-bred broke his maiden at Aqu. on Nov. 11 and was claimed that afternoon for $35K. Sent in for a 65 day freshening at that time, he's gone (7-0-4-1) since returning and stalker drops down a bit for this attempt. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Brother Bob) (5-1) - Speedy colt was claimed on Feb. 15 by Linda Rice for $60K and has been freshened up since March 27th when he raced poorly at Aqu. in his first for the new barn. Rice drops him down to 1/2 of what he was purchased for and his best ever came when he broke his maiden on a muddy surface at Aqu. in late Nov.
3rd pick: #3 (Datts Happy) (3-1) - Trainer Mark Hennig has had a great year so far and is (12-3-3-0) at this meet. This stalker is working fast for his first since March 30th and he was sharp in his only start on an "off" track on this surface in late 2011.
4th pick: #2 (All Jonesy) (7-2) - Very lightly raced, $200K son of "Indian Charlie" has plenty of speed and is in a winning barn (Rudy Rodriguez). Drops to a new low and Joel Rosario gets aboard for the first time.
