Top pick: #5 (JUBILANT VISION) (2-1) - Lightly-raced filly has been freshened up since an even effort Feb 21 facing tougher. Speed is her game and 4-year-old is working steadily at Belmont for her return to action. Trainer Ed Kenneally drops her down in class and she can take this on the front end.
2nd pick: #6 (Reckless Move) (5-1) - Stalker is moving from turf to dirt, shortening up in distance, and moving up just a bit in price. Most all of her success has come on the dirt and this 7-furlong distance should fit her style.
3rd pick: #7 (Racing for Chasin) (12-1) - West Coast invader raced evenly in local bow May 6th. She was bumped heavily at the break and was forced to try and mount a rally while wide. Longshot has enough speed to stay close and she draws a nice outside post at this trip. Cal. bred is the only filly entered with a previous win at this distance.
4th pick: #3 (Just Got Out) (7-2) - Barn (Jeremiah Englehart) has won a race on each of the past two days here and they were both coming from Gulfstream and racing off of brief layoffs, just like this filly. She's racing first off a claim (a 26% winning angle from the trainer) and he adds blinkers (25%).
