Top pick: #2 (KINGSTON JAMAICA) (3-1) - Irish import had some promise as a 2-year-old back in 2012, but has only made four starts since August of that year. Trainer Todd Pletcher drops him to a new low and has him nicely spotted this afternoon.
2nd pick: #1 (Handsome Dennis) (5-2) - Santa Anita invader is one of many purchased privately by trainer Dave Jacobson and he has this colt working regularly for his first since the barn change and first in two months. Strong finisher is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Papa Freud) (5-1) - He has fine early speed and is racing second back from a 3 1/2 month layoff. Nice effort in his return race at Aqueduct on April 11th and in this rather paceless field he's in the win mix.
4th pick: #4 (Dendrite) (12-1) - Long time maiden got his first win April 18th at Aqueduct and it came fresh off a half-year's absence. He's worked fine since and gelding can factor at a square price.
