Top pick: #7 (DIVINE LUCK) (3-1) - In the same barn as "Derby" winner "Orb," filly has spent her entire career on the grass and broke her maiden at Gulfstream on Dec. 1. She followed that up by tiring late there after setting a quick pace at this level Jan. 13th in her first facing winners. On the sidelines since, daughter of "Ghostzapper" is working well for this attempt.
2nd pick: #8 (Skyfall) (7-2) - Home-bred filly by "More Than Ready" is in the Pletcher barn and last out at Gulfstream she finished second facing similar at this trip. Race was her first in 5 1/2 months she has a pair of works on the Saratoga training track heading into this.
3rd pick: #5 (Hot Tempo) (4-1) - Strong finisher broke her maiden on the Gulfstream grass at this distance Feb. 24, then closed fast to finish fourth after a "tardy" beginning on April 7 at Keeneland. As is normal, the barn of Barclay Tagg is doing well at this meet and this filly must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #3 (Corporate Culture) (4-1) - She's one of two entered who broke their maidens on this course, doing so at this trip in late Oct. Fits, is in the barn of Chad Brown, and is yet another who is training nicely for this assignment.
