Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (MISERICORDIA) (3-1) - English bred filly is facing winners for the first time. Daughter of top sire 'Dansili' was an easy maiden winner April 11 at Aqueduct at this 6 furlong distance. Stalker draws well and there's plenty of potential pace to set things up for her.
2nd pick: #7 (Guerriere) (7-2) - Irish bred and French raced, she went 10-1-2-6 on the grass all at longer distances. Many of her starts were competitive efforts facing males and she ships from Florida where she's been in training at the Palm Meadows Center. Four-year-old has a new trainer (Chad Brown) 25% with new arrivals, and he adds Lasix (24%). A threat if ready in her first since Nov. 16.
3rd pick: #5 (Transaction Tax) (12-1) - Lightly-raced long shot moves up in class after finishing a pace-setting second at this distance April 19 at Aqueduct racing for a $40K tag at this 2l condition. It was her first since Oct. 4 when she was claimed by Gary Contessa from Chad Brown. Her early speed makes her a bit dangerous at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (Lady Suebee) (6-1) - Speed/stalker is an uncoupled barn-mate of 'Guerriere' as both are trained by Chad Brown. She broke here maiden on the Aqueduct dirt March 18 and is facing winners and is on the grass both for the first time.
