Top pick: #3 (CAPTAIN EASY) (6-1) - Well-bred colt ran "rank" on the lead and tired turning for home here on May 24th when running for a $65K tag. Effort came off a half-year's absence and he should be much fitter today in his second back. Trainer Tom Albertrani drops him down and this $100K son of "Medglia d'Oro" can take this at a square price.

2nd pick: #2 (Matagot) (8-5) - The probable favorite, colt is one of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Three-year-old raced evenly in a pair facing tougher earlier this year at Gulfstream and races today off almost a 10 day freshening. Obvious win candidate.

3rd pick: #4 (Ale) (3-1) - He just missed racing for a $35K tag at Gulfstream on Jan. 24 and was claimed that afternoon by Linda Rice. Son of "Tale of the Cat" had a troubled trip there a month later in his first for the new barn and races this afternoon off almost a four month break. Dangerous with his best.

4th pick: #5 (Fiddlers Chico) (8-1) - Gelding has improved since moving to the grass and has finished third here in both attempts since making the switch. In shape and has a recency edge on both "Matagot" and "Ale."
