2nd pick: #6 (Cap's Vow) (3-1) - New York bred ships up from Maryland where she was competitive in one of two after coming of a 10 month layoff. Strong finisher was sharp in both starts here last fall and she loves this particular distance 6-1-5-0. Stretch threat.
3rd pick: #1 (Courtly Kitty) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Dave Donk and the pair race uncoupled. Three-year-old raced evenly when finishing third here at this level May 17. It was her second start since coming back from a 4.5 month layoff April 21. She has a ground-saving post and Jose Ortiz is aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #5 (Little Miss Amy) (12-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of 'Big Brown' has some early speed and broke her maiden in late Sept. at Delaware Park at this distance. Three-year-old has a new trainer (Bob Diodoro) and he's gone 8-for-26 (31%) in his first regular appearance on the NYRA circuit.
