2nd pick: #2 (Mr Classical) (4-1) - One of four making their debuts, son of 'Bernardini' has been working very fast since shipping back from Florida in early April. In the barn of Chad Brown (20% first out), he has Javier Castellano aboard. The pair have won with 92 of 328 (28%) when teamed up over the past 17 months.
3rd pick: #10 (Irnst) (8-1) - Colt rallied to finish second when debuting in a Saratoga sprint Sept. 4. Away from action until April 23, he raced both wide and evenly at this level and distance at Keeneland in his return. In the Pletcher barn, he's working steadily, draws a fine outside post, and John Velazquez is aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #3 (Valdocco) (6-1) - The main speed of those that have raced, he ships from Gulfstream where he's finished second in four of his last five starts. Colt will take them on the lead as far as he can.
5th pick: #7 (New Moon) (20-1) - Gelding by 'Malibu Mon' tired when debuting here April 30. He received some betting support that day and should improve for trainer Michelle Nevin is 6-for-26 (23%) at this meet.
