An under-rated barn, Arnaud Delacour (30% second time out), adds both blinkers (29%), and Javier Castellano as he switches this 4yo to the grass.
2nd pick: #2 (Pandamom) (4-1) - A home-bred by 'Uncle Mo,' she raced wide before checking in a distant 3rd when debuting at this level and distance Nov. 15 at Aqueduct. Well backed (4-1) in the large field (12), she spent the winter in training at Payson Park for Chris Clement, 16% second time out and 19% following long layoffs. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Beyond Brown) (7-2) - This 3yo filly has been on the sidelines since finishing a pace-setting 2nd Nov. 15, a contest where she was 5.5 lengths in front of the debuting 'Pandamom.' Home-bred by 'Big Brown' has worked four times here in the past month and is in the mix if ready.
4th pick: #10 (Giacosa) (8-1) - She debuted in the same Nov. 15 contest as both 'Pandamom' and 'Beyond Brown' and raced evenly to lose by 13.5 lengths. Only a 1/2-length behind the former that afternoon, she can factor today at a square price.
