Top pick: #9 (COPIOUS NOTES) - Speedy daughter of "Read The Footnotes" had some trouble at the start of her latest and after rushing up into the pace she tired a bit during the stretch run. Trainer Gary Contessa brings her back quickly for this and removes her blinkers. Three-year-old draws a nice post and can win this with a "clean" start.
2nd pick: #1 (Little Reya) - Much-improved filly since her connections moved her to the turf, she finished second last out facing much tougher and will drop back into a claimer and shorten up a bit in distance. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (She's Got Energy) - Nicely bred and expensive ($140K) she showed nothing last fall at Keeneland in her only start and runs today off a 7 month break, with a new trainer, drops down in class, is moved to the grass, and races with blinkers added. New trainer Dom Schettino has her working fast and she could impact with all the changes.
