Top pick: #4 (OH BILLY BILLY) (3-1) - Colt showed nothing when going a mile on the Santa Anita turf facing much tougher on April 4th. It was his first start in almost 14 1/2 months and 4-year-old was sold following that comebacker to owner/trainer Dave Jacobson. This son of 'Unusual Heat' cost $400,000 and was originally in the barn of Bob Baffert. Jacobson has worked him twice since coming east and drops him way down in class. Take this if ready.
2nd pick: #1 (Francis Freud) (7-2) - Lightly-raced colt has early speed and is facing winners for the first time. Three-year-old was a wire-to-wire winner on a sloppy surface at Aqueduct March 14th to get his maiden win and should be involved in this every step.
3rd pick: #6 (Keltic Fighter) (8-1) - Not a win candidate, grey gelding may grab a minor award at a square price. Eight-year-old finished second here at this level and distance Oct 11 and appears to be at his best on this deep surface.
