Since coming back to the place of his birth, he's gone (6-5-1-0) and comes off a pair of visually impressive back-to-back wins at Saratoga going 9 furlongs. He continues to train well and the only negative is that he's never raced on this often "tricky" and deep surface. The top choice.
2nd pick: #3 (Saginaw) - The main danger, he's won 7 of his last 8, with his only sub-par performance coming this past Memorial day when he was over-matched in the Met Mile(G1). Unlike "Lunar" he already proven that he likes it here (8-3-2-0) and his record at this distance is outstanding (14-8-4-0). Obvious win candidate in a two horse race on paper.
