Top pick: #4 (TWO WEEKS OFF) (9-5) - Lightly-raced son of 'Harlan's Holiday' looked great when winning an allowance at Keeneland going 7-furlongs April 4th. It was his first since breaking his maiden at Saratoga on Aug. 30. In the Pletcher barn, late developer is making his stakes debut and stretching out in distance. If he wins this, he becomes an instant contender for the June 6th 'Belmont Stakes.'
2nd pick: #1 (Wolf Man Rocket) (2-1) - From the Baffert barn, colt broke his maiden in the $100K 'Northern Spur' stakes going a mile at Oaklawn on the undercard of the 'Arkansas Derby' April 11th. Son of 'Mineshaft' cost $550K, has early speed, is training fast, and appears to have a very bright future.
3rd pick: #3 (Conquest Curlinate) (5-1) - Grey colt rallied from far back to miss by a 'nose' in the G3 'Illinois Derby' at this distance at Hawthorne April 18th. By far a career best and the figure earned was solid. Stretch threat at a square price.
