Top pick: #6 (LA VERDAD) (3-5) - Multiple sprint stakes winner has won 12 of 18 overall, is five for six here at Belmont. She won the 2014 edition of this stakes and did so against a better field. Speedster is five for seven on wet tracks, continues to train fast, and all she may need is a trouble free start.
2nd pick: #1 (Court Dancer) (8-1) - Much improved over the winter, speed/stalker moves back to the main track after tiring here in a grass sprint May 15. Daughter of 'War Chant' had won three of four on the dirt prior to that, and she's 2-1-1-0 on off tracks. Has the rail, and believe she has the only chance at a possible upset.
3rd pick: #7 (Here's Zealous) (20-1) - Longshot has won 12 of 21 overall facing weaker and is 5-2-1-0 here at Belmont. May be able to hold down a piece of this at a big price if able to avoid a wide trip.
4th pick: #2 (Make the Moment) (15-1) - No speed type has been freshened up since March 12. Training fast for her return, mare has gone 8-2-2-1 on off going in the past, and she may get a minor award at a big price with a late rally.
