Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (GET JETS) (3-1) - Thought he was one of the more impressive debut winners at the recent Saratoga meet. Colt was allowed to settle into stride before eased off the inside nearing the 1/4 pole. From there he rallied strongly while wide and coasted home to score by 4 1/2 lengths while completing the six-furlong distance in 1:10.20. Working fast at Fair Hill since that score, he should enjoy the additional furlong he travels today.
2nd pick: #4 (Sudden Surprise) (2-1) - Undefeated (two-for-two) colt from the Pletcher barn, has not been really tested in either win. Speed/stalker has over-come less than perfect trips in both starts and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Championofthenile) (7-5) - He was a very sharp maiden winner at Saratoga going 6.5-furlongs Sept. 4th. The 'figure' earned was huge for a 2yo, and the rest are in trouble if he can repeat it.
