Top pick: #2 (EPSILON) (4-1) - Darley home bred was heavily bet when debuting at Saratoga on Aug. 30 in a contest common to several others entered here. Colt raced wide and finished gamely while checking in 7th of 10, beaten two lengths. He's worked nicely since and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin wins at a 25% rate second time out.
2nd pick: #6 (Gustnado) (4-1) - He exits the same Spa race as "Epsilon" and was only beaten a length after a wide trip from a tough outside post. $285K son of "Smart Strike" should be involved every step. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (King of New York) (3-1) - The probable favorite, he's finished second in both starts and was only beaten a "neck" here at this level going a mile on Sept. 6. Stalker is an obvious contender at a short price.
4th pick: #7 (Congrats to Ken) (7-2) - He had a cozy inside post and rallied to finish second in the same Saratoga contest as both "Epsilon" and "Gustnado." Nice effort and a repeat of it makes him a threat.
