He's ran well here during the late spring and worked a bullet half-mile on the local main track Sept. 12th. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (I'm Amazing) (5-2) - Blinkers go on for his first race since July 16. Grey colt sold for $1,600,000 as a yearling back in 2014 and has been brought along slowly by trainer Ralph Nicks. Working fast, he has more early speed than 'Tale of Mist,' and 3yo has been competitive in both local attempts. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Admiral Blue) (8-1) - He has early speed and is switching from grass to dirt in his third back off an eight-month layoff. He was only two lengths behind 'Tale of Mist' Aug. 5th at Saratoga and can factor today at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (Winning Road) (6-1) - Unraced since last November, he was competitive in all three starts during the fall of 2015. Stalker is well bred, working fast, and $260,000 purchase is a serious factor if ready.
