Top pick: #6 (MOONLIGHT FANTASY) (3-1) - Schwartz home bred has been freshened up since tiring at Saratoga when debuting July 23rd. Daughter of "Malibu Moon" was away slowly that day and was forced into rushing up in a race that had an impressive 10 1/2 length winner. She's working very fast for this and has a solid shot at beating the presumed favorite #1 "Sweet Sweet Sweet."
2nd pick: #1 (Sweet Sweet Sweet) (9-5) - The morning line favorite, she should have won when debuting at Saratoga Sept. 1st. Daughter of "Northern Afleet" had a clear lead turning for home but bolted to the outside and lost some momentum and had to settle for the place spot. Working fast at Finger Lakes since then, she has the rail and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (All Luv Me) (8-1) - Grey filly has some speed and will be going turf to dirt in her second back from a two month freshening. She's run well here on the dirt in the past "2-0-1-1), but has lost ground during the stretch run in the majority of her starts. Can factor but needs to do better in the final 1/4 mile.
4th pick: #4 (Shades of Indygo) (10-1) - No-speed type runs for the first time since July 18th. Home bred is moving from turf to dirt and is shortening up in distance. Three-year-old has gone 5-0-1-3 here on the main track in the past and should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
