Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (COURSE CORRECTION) (2-1) - Colt has been competitive in all four starts including a close-up fourth-place finish here at this level and distance May 6. In his follow up at Saratoga July 30 he rallied to check in second going 11 furlongs. Training steadily since, he's from the barn of Chad Brown and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Rhode Island) (3-1) - Home bred is lightly raced and has been freshened up since May 6. Son of 'Giant's Causeway' finished second that day racing here at this level and distance and colt was a length in front of 'Course Correction'. It was a career-best overall and he enters off a bullet half-mile at the Fair Hill Center Sept. 15.
3rd pick: #5 (Teryn It Up) (5-1) - Speed/stalker ships back from Monmouth where he finished second as the favorite going 8.5 furlongs Aug. 31. Colt has been competitive in five straight and should be again in this spot though believe he has to improve a bit to handle either of the top two selections.
4th pick: #4 (No Mans Land) (6-1) - Four-year-olds by 'Lemon Drop Kid' has been competitive in all three starts since coming back from an 11-month layoff June 23. He's the type that can 'run all day' without tiring and races with blinkers on. Late threat.
