2nd pick: #1 (Prolific) (3-1) - Godolphin home bred by 'Bernardini' ships from the Fair Hill training center in Western Maryland. Three of his last five works are of the bullet type, including a swift half-mile Sept. 9. Colt has the rail and Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard.
3rd pick: #4 (St. Augustine) (6-1) - Grey son of top sire 'Tapit' has a dozen published works since late June and is from a capable first out barn (Jimmy Jerkens). Bred to like longer distances, he may need a race before showing his best.
4th pick: #5 (Chantry Flats) (12-1) - Longshot by 'The Factor' sold for $180,000 as a yearling in July of 2016. Barn (Michele Nevin) is having a solid year, and this colt may grab a share at a big price if ready.
