Top pick: #2 (TREASURE) (2-1) - The probable favorite, home bred daughter of "Medaglia d'Oro" rallied to chaek in second when debuting at Saratoga Aug. 10. She was bet that afternoon and did well from a difficult outside post (10th of 10). Working fgast since and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Eloquent Tribute) (6-1) - One of four fillies making their first starts, $175K daughter of "Tapit" skipped the Saratoga meet but did work there three times. The latest, a sharp 5-furlong gate breeze on Aug. 25 signals her readiness.
3rd pick: #5 (Paris Bikini) (7-2) - Debuting filly by "Bernardini" is from the Pletcher barn (25% first out with juveniles) and is another that skipped the Spa meet. Owned and bred by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, she looks ready to be competitive.
4th pick: #1 (Onus) (4-1) - Grey filly debuted in the same August 10th race as "Treasure" and rallied to check in fourth after a slow getaway. Only two back of that rival at the finish, she draws the rail and is a stretch threat with an alert start.
