Top pick: #7 (SPEIGHTFUL AFFAIR) - Talented sophomore hasn't raced since she finished a close-up second in the G3 "Comely" on Apr. 10. Working well for her return, she's in a very sharp barn, (Steve Asmussen), and Dominguez climbs aboard for her return effort. Tough call, but if ready off the break she's the likely winner.
2nd pick: #3 (Flask) - Very speedy filly finished second here at this level and distance on Sept. 16. Winner of that one is a very talented runner and this daughter of "Maria's Mon" has a sharp work coming into this. Filly will be tough to beat if she repeats her latest.
3rd pick: #5 (Indian Blossom) - Also from the Asmussen barn, she has a good closing style in a race where the pace should be on the quick side. Freshened-up for the past two months, when last raced she was competitive at this level at Monmouth going two turns. Faster the pace the better her chances.
