Top pick: #7 (OPENING MOVE) - Colt finished a strong second here five weeks ago when debuting at 6 furlongs. He showed fine early speed that day and held strongly for the place once he lost the lead. Great second-out barn (Kiaran McLaughlin- 30%) stretches him out in distance today and colt has a pair of nice works following his debut. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Casanova Giant) - Well-bred colt chased and tired in the same race as the top pick, but wasn't pushed hard once he began to drop back. In the Pletcher barn, and he has strong percentages second time out and on the stretch out angle. He'll run much better today.
3rd pick: #3 (Gallant Dreams ) - Exits the same race as the top pair and he ran evenly while racing wide. Another good second out barn (Tom Albertrani - 24%) and this colt is bred to like the longer trip. Can factor with some improvement.
