2nd pick: #1 (Left Uppercut) (6-1) - Speedy home-bred has the best early speed of this field and has the inside advantage as she drops in class. Barn has Juan Ortiz back aboard after a two race absence and he was on her when she finished second here facing tougher on June 16th.
3rd pick: #4 (Sheedbdawon) (3-1) - She's one of two entered by trainer Mike Maker and the pair race uncoupled. Filly stretches out a bit and has been racing evenly of late. 4-year-old should factor against this group.
4th pick: #3 (You So Smart) (2-1) - She takes a big drop, has early speed, and has been competitive in two of three on the grass facing tougher. The second of the Maker pair, she's working fine and must be left in the mix.
