Top pick: #7 (COUNTKNICKERBOCKER) (7-2) - Stalker has been freshened up for almost two months off a pair of good tries at this level racing on the Saratoga turf. There's a lot of potential speed signed on, and it's nice to see John Velazquez back on the re-ride.
2nd pick: #3 (Ludo Bagman) (6-1) - Speedy gelding cuts back a furlong after pressing a fast pace and finishing fifth of 12 here going seven furlongs on Sept. 28th. Can factor today at a square price.
3rd pick: #4 (River Tune) (3-1) - The probable favorite, strong finisher raced evenly last out in the same contest as "Bagman," and should be finishing fast in this six furlong sprint.
4th pick: #5 (Hooked Forever) (5-1) - He's tremendously improved of late, and last out missed by a neck here going seven furlongs at this level just 10 days ago. Fits, is in career best shape, and must be left in the mix.
