Top pick: #3 (KID TORNADO) - Freshened for the past 7 weeks he finished a solid second at Saratoga on Aug. 22 racing for $35K. Working well, in a good barn, and he just missed here on May 27 facing tougher. Stalker is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Captivating Cat) - Talented, well-bred, but fragile runner hasn't raced since May of 2009. Working fast and he'll race in a claimer for the first time today. Doesn't face much and if ready with his best could easily find himself in the winner's circle.
3rd pick: #6 (Hillswick) - Drops in his second back off a claim and he faced much tougher last out. Has speed/stalking ability and cleared the 2L level at Saratoga racing for $35K on Aug. 22. "Fronts" went on last out and that's never a positive sign. Can contend on the drop.
