Daughter of 'Quality Road' finished second when debuting at this level going six furlongs Aug 28 at Saratoga. Nice first outing and trainer Mark Hennig ( 3-for-12 at this met) has given her almost six weeks to recover. She worked a sharp half-mile here Sept. 26 and Hennig has Javier Castellano aboard for this attempt.
2nd pick: #2 (Drip Brew) (6-1) - Longshot has the best early speed and is racing with blinkers on. She improved noticeably in her second start which came here at this trip Sept. 18. A threat on the lead at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Special Risk) (5-2) - Lasix is added to filly who showed nothing in Saratoga's G1 Spinaway Stakes Sept. 3. She had missed by a 1/2 length there when facing fellow maidens July 22 and has been working fast for this assignment. An obvious contender
4th pick: #6 (Courtmewithcarats) (7-2) - Very wide in her first pair, filly ran well in spots racing here Sept. 11 in a large field (12). She's worked since, and it's noted that she gets a big rider upgrade to Jose Ortiz.
