Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (CONDO PRINCE) (3-1) - I liked him in both starts at Saratoga where he rallied to finish second in each. Colt should like both the wet surface and the additional furlong he travels this afternoon.
2nd pick: #6 (Gotta Curlin) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Debuting colt cost $380,000 a year ago and has been in steady training since late June. Son of 'Curlin' had a very sharp 1/2 mile gate breeze here Sept. 25 and looks dangerous first out.
3rd pick: #4 (Fillet of Sole) (5-2) - The second of the Pletcher trained runners, $350K son of Belmont Stakes winner 'Union Rags' has finished third in both starts. Colt runs first off a private trainer change to Pletcher (a 21% winning angle). It's noted that Castellano is aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #1 (Oxford Circus) (5-1) - Grey colt showed fine early speed before tiring under pressure to check in fourth when debuting at this level and distance Sept. 3 at Saratoga. He's worked twice wince and should be involved from start-to-finish.
