Top pick: #1 (TIZ AFLEET) (5-1) - Like many in this contest he's lightly-raced and well bred. Gelding ran evenly here from a tough inside post facing tougher May 9th. He had some traffic issues that afternoon and was only beaten 4 1/2 lengths. Positive effort his first on the grass and trainer Bill Mott will drop him down in class. Three-year-old by 'Tiz Wonderful' has the rail again, but at this trip out of the chute it's a plus if he has a clean trip.
nd pick: #3 (Number One) (7-2) - Speedy sort enters off a career best here May 1st. Dropped down to this $75K tag for the first time, he set a pressured pace and held gamely to miss by a 'nose.' Home bred by 'Harlan's Holiday' should be involved from start-to-finish.
rd pick: #2 (Caprock Kid) (3-1) - Son of 'Sky Mesa' takes the big drop into claimers for the first time. He received a weak ride last out as his jockey had him in between horses the entire race. He's worked fast since and Hall of Fame 'Shug' McGaughey makes a rider switch. Win candidate.
th pick: #4 (Noble Hustle) (10-1) - Colt is stretching out in distance and moving from dirt to turf. He has some talent, is bred for the grass, and can contend at a big price.
th pick: #6 (Kensington Court) (6-1) - Colt from the Pletcher barn showed some early speed at Aqueduct. April 18th. It was a nice step forward off his debut and he's racing with blinkers added and dropping into a claimer for the first time.
