Top pick: #9 (PATH OF DREAMS) (2-1) - The probable favorite, daughter of "Giant's Causeway" has run well in both her grass races and last out at Gulfstream she was beaten a nose at this level going 1 1/8th miles on March 8. Freshened up since, she's in the Pletcher barn and he has her working steadily for her return.
2nd pick: #8 (Dulcedumbre) (5-1) - Price play ships up from Philly Park where she missed by a neck going a two-turn mile on the dirt from a tough outside post. Race was off a six month layoff and trainer Alan Goldberg will bring her back quickly and move her to the grass. Filly is bred to like the turf and she's clearly improving.
3rd pick: #7 (Clearbrook) (12-1) - Debuting filly is working above average for "Hall of Famer" Bill Mott and she's been in steady training since late January when she was stabled at Mott's winter base of Payson Park. Dangerous if ready.
4th pick: #4 (Poster Girl) (7-2) - California regular John Shirreffs ("Zenyata"'s trainer) has a small stable in New York for the first time and this $435K daughter of "War Front" is his first starter at this meet. Training fast for her first since Jan. 13, 3yo has broken slowly in her first two outings and is a big threat if she has a "clean" getaway.
