She's been in steady training for some time now and was scratched earlier in the meet by Chad Brown to await this spot. Gets a slight edge over "Celesta."
2nd pick: #1 (Entry of 1-Chrissy Girl & 1a-Celesta) - This is a Tom Bush trained entry and with jockey Cornelio Velasquez listed on both halves only one will go. "Celesta" is the stgronger of the pair and is well-bred and improving. She has more natural speed than "Lady" and is a win candidate. "Chrissy" is also beautifully bred and has run better in her last pair than the final result indicates.
3rd pick: #6 (Mela Dramatically) (4-1) - Grey mare is now almost 5.5 years old so further improvement isn't likely. Un-raced since late Nov., she closed out 2012 in good form and she's been in steady training at Fair Hill for the Graham Motion barn. Factors with her best if ready.
4th pick: #8 (Carole Lee) (15-1) - Longshot comes from a "hot" barn (Dave Donk) and she'll be making her third start and first ever on the grass. Bred to handle the new footing and she could grab a share at a big price.
