Top pick: #5 (IN TODD WE TRUST) (9-5) - He finished third here at this tag and distance on a "sloppy" surface a week ago and the field was much tougher than this one. In shape, and stalker is from the leading trainer at this meet (Dave Jacobson).
2nd pick: #2 (Epic Legend) (5-1) - Very lightly raced, he's one of two entered by trainer Gary Contessa (the other being No. 4 "Dream of Scipio") and the pair race uncoupled. He goes turf to dirt, drops a bit in price, and shortens up a bit in distance. Gelding had some serious traffic issues in his latest and can be dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #1a (Patriotic Duty) (5-1) - He's part of a Randi Persaud trained entry and he has apprentice rider Rodriguez listed on both halves, so only one will go. Colt is already making his 11th start of 2013 and has been racing evenly. On the positive side, he's finished within a short range of "Todd" the two times they've met.
