Top pick: #1 (THOSE LION EYES) - The main speed she set a fast pace and weakened last out in the final furlong to check-in fourth in a contest on this surface at this distance. That was a much tougher field and she'll be tough to catch in this spot. The top pick, she races coupled in the wagering with #1a Lady Vi.
2nd pick: #4 (How's Bayou) - Home-bred daughter of "Flatter" has improved noticeably since coming back from a five month layoff in March. She was a good-looking maiden winner April 13th at Aqueduct and will be facing fellow winners for the first time. Lightly raced, she has plenty of room for upside.
3rd pick: #3 (Risky Rachel) - Had a bright future during the latter part of 2009, but she hasn't raced since a fourth-place finish at this level in April of 2010. She's working fine and runs off a positive trainer change to Jim Bond.
