Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (BARTLEBY) (12-1) - Long shot switches from dirt to turf and is moving up in class. One-run type raced evenly while between horses going 7 furlongs here on the dirt facing weaker April 29. It was his first since March 10 when Bob Diodoro claimed him at Aqueduct for $25,000. Four-year-old is clearly a much better horse on the grass and he broke his maiden here at this distance Sept. 15. Gelding has a shot at a big price but make sure you box your exactas in this contest.
2nd pick: #9 (Major Force) (5-2) - Very lightly-raced 4-year-old missed by less than a length going a mile on the Aqueduct turf at this level April 13. It was his first since July 23 and it's noted that this gelding by 'Scat Daddy' originally sold for $475,000 as a yearling back in August of 2015. A serious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Diplodocus) (7-2) - Blinkers go on gelding who rallied to finish 4th at this level going a mile at Aqueduct April 13. It was his first race in 9 months and trainer Brad Cox has him making back-to-back starts for the first time since late in 2016. A serious late threat.
4th pick: #5 (Miles of Humor) (9-2) - Gulfstrem shipper moves up a bit after finishing second there for a $30K tag at this 2l condition March 18. He had some promise back in the summer of 2016 but went in for a 13 month layoff in August of that year. Must be left in the mix.
