Three-year-old by 'Tapit' sold for $625,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2016 at Keeneland and has been brought along slowly by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. He missed by a 'head' when debuting going 6.5 furlongs at Gulfstream March 4, then was a gate-to-wire maiden winner there at the same distance April 6. Working fast since, he looks to have a bright future.
2nd pick: #6 (Earned Success) (9-5) - Much like 'Amithmaar' this well bred 3-year-old is facing winners and stretching out in distance. He won his debut in wire-to-wire fashion April 6 at Aqueduct going 6.5 furlongs and is taking the next logical step for trainer Chad Brown.
3rd pick: #4 (The Money Dance) (6-1) - Colt ships in from Oaklawn Park where he was a 7 length maiden winner going 8.5 furlongs April 14. Much improved in his last pair, son of the 'Jimmy Creed' should receive a solid pace to rate off of and rally into.
