Top pick: #2 (HARRIER HILL) - Darley home-bred began his career in England and has since returned to the country of his birth. Working fast for his first race since August 10th, he has a new trainer Kiaran McLaughlin (30% with new arrivals) and he'll add lasix to this son of Bernardini. Looks set off the layoff.
2nd pick: #7 (Wise Guy Charlie) - The probable favorite, he's shown good early speed in all three well-bet starts and is working fast for his first start since just missing at Philly Park a month ago. Trainer Chad Brown adds blinkers and this $270K son of "Indian Charlie" is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Demon's Deputy) - He hasn't started since late August at Saratoga when be finished a pace-setting second racing for a $100K tag. Needs to be at his best off the long layoff for any shot at the win.
