Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (DREAMS OF TOMORROW) (9-5) - One of two entered with experience, this Phipps home-bred checked in a pace-chasing 3rd of 10, missing by 3.5 lengths when debuting at this level going seven furlongs at Gulfstream April 25. He's worked four times since for 'Shug' McGaughey, who has won with eight of 39 (21%) second time starters in 2019-20.

2nd pick: #6 (First Line) (4-1) - The other maiden that's seen action, he finished 2nd at this level and distance Feb. 28 at Aqueduct. It was a nice move forward off his debut there going a mile Jan. 11, and he has a very solid series of works on view for this attempt. Gelding by 'First Samurai' is dangerous today.

3rd pick: #3 (Break Beat) (8-1) - One of five making their debuts, this $160K son of 'Blame' has worked six times on the local training track since April 1. Four are of the stamina building type, with a pair of very fast half-mile drills mixed in. He was timed in at 00:47.40 on May 5, the third best of 115 at the distance that morning.

4th pick: #4 (Pardsy) (9-2) - A son of 'Flatter,' he sold for $375,000 as a 2yo in training back n April of last year. From the So. California based barn of Doug O'Neill, this colt had a pair of fast five-furlong gate drills at Santa Anita before heading here, and also had a local half-mile breeze here May 31. O'Neill has won at a 17% rate first out since Jan. 1 of 2019, and it's noted that Javier Castellano is aboard.
