Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (GALILEO'S SONG) (7-2) - Very lightly-raced filly is taking on winners for the first time. Daughter of international sire 'Galileo' rallied to break her maiden here May 5 going 1 1/4 miles on this course. The victory was complimented when the second-place runner that afternoon won here on yesterday's card. Bred to handle this longer distance she gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Achnaha) (8-5) - The probable favorite, mare is dropping in class following a trio of good efforts facing stakes competition. Irish bred is the type that can 'run all day' she's racing third back off a pair of layoffs. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Dreaming as Always) (6-1) - New York bred mare has been away from action since last July. She won three of four starts in 2015 with two of those coming on this course. Five-year-old won fresh off a 6.5 month layoff in late April of that year and she has more early speed than most. Dangerous if ready.
4th pick: #6 (Special Treat) (10-1) - Phipp's home bred ships back from Laurel where she broke her maiden May 6 going 1 1/8th miles on a sloppy surface. Race was moved 'off the turf' and she's bred to like this longer trip.
