The latest came here at this level and distance May 10 when she missed by a 'neck.' She had to await running room near the 1/4 pole and I believe 3yo would have won if clear at that point. 2nd pick: #10 (Sugar Curl) (8-1) - Longshot raced evenly when finishing five lengths behind 'La Naturel' here May 10. It was her first since March 23, first following a Dave Cannizzo claim, and first ever on the grass. I think this improving daughter of 'Curlin' will be competitive at a big price.
3rd pick: #3 (Full Tilt Treasure) (5-2) - Grey filly ships from Tampa Bay Downs where she was competitive in three straight going a mile or longer. Freshened up since April 15, she's dropping in class, shortening up in distance, and it's of note that Javier Castellano is aboard.
4th pick: #7 (Beyondelle) (20-1) - Florida bred didn't have the best of trips when finishing behind both 'La Naturel' and 'Sugar Curl' May 10. She has early speed, has shown that she can rate a bit if needed, and may grab a share at very large odds.
