Top pick: #2 (THIRTEEN ARROWS) (2-1) - Daughter of "Indian Charlie" cost $350K as a yearling and has been brought along slowly by trainer Chad Brown. She's shown sharp early speed in both starts and just missed when debuting at this level and distance at Gulfstream on March 2. Working bullets on the Saratoga training track for this, and she's the horse to beat.
nd pick: #5 (Revise) (9-2) - Juddmonte home-bred rushed up after a slow start and tired badly when debuting at Gulfstream on March 20. She's working fast for her return and can factor with an alert break.
rd pick: #7 (Predicate) (6-1) - No speed type generally puts in a late run, and has gone 9-0-3-3 racing on the dirt. Capable of being a factor again today, and the faster the pace, the better her chances.
th pick: #3 (Royalty) (15-1) - Filly has a new trainer (Jimmy Jerkens), and the son of "Hall of Famer" Allen is enjoying a resurgence after some "lean" years. This 4yo hasn't raced since last August at Saratoga, but is training fast locally and may grab a share at a big price.
th pick: #1 (Silver Union) (12-1) - John Velazquez gets aboard filly who raced evenly despite some traffic issues last out at Keeneland. Daughter of "Dixie Union" has the rail, is making back-to-back starts for the first time, and probably has more talent to show.
