Top pick: #5 (STREET LORD) (5-2) - He's been freshened up since March 16th when he pressed and weakened before weakening to finish third racing at this level going a two-turn mile on Aqueduct's inner-surface. Trainer Charlton Baker (26% off of long layoffs) has him working very sharply locally, including a pair of back-to-back bullet half-mile breezes on June 24th and 30th. Looks set for a big effort.
2nd pick: #7 (Native Singer) (2-1) - One of two entered by trainer Dom Galluscio and the pair race uncoupled. Gelding had a fine debut when checking in 4th of 11, beaten 2 1/2 lengths racing here on a muddy surface at this level and distance On June 8th. He took some money that day, had trouble at the start, andd draws a nice outside post this afternoon. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Bernardo) (4-1) - He's finished third in two straight here at this condition and trip and last out was beaten less than a length. Fits, but will have a tough time if both "Lord" and "Singer" improve a bit.
4th pick: #6 (Here He Fitz) (7-2) - Son of "War Chant" has a bit of speed and stretches back out after an even trip here going 6 furlongs on June 7th. Racing at this trip in his previous start, he finished a pace-chasing fourth, and was only a neck back of "Bernardo" on the wire.
