Top pick: #4 (STAR OF NEW YORK) - Presumption is that this race will be switched to the main-track, but this runner is the top choice on dirt or turf. Speed stalker has run well in evety start and has improved since blinkers went on two back. Can take this from on, or just off the top.
2nd pick: #6 (Fiddler's Patriot) - Nice drill here on Sept. 1 a "bullet" five-furlong move (best of 25 that day at the distance). Capable first out barn (George Weaver) and this field isn't that strong when you get past the top pick.
3rd pick: #12 (Pent Up) - Has a lot of late foot and his last pair at Penn National fit with these. Trainer (Bruce Kravets) has won in New York before with Pennsylvania shippers. Encouraging that Coa takes the mount.
