Top pick: #1 (LION D N A) (6-5) - The perobable favorite, daughter of "Lion Heart" just missed at Saratoga facing tougher on Aug. 30 in her first back from a two month break. Claimed that day by Rudy Rodriguez for $35K, he has her beautifully spotted this afternoon.
2nd pick: #8 (Nuffsaid Nuffsaid) (5-1) - Speedy and lightly-raced filly comes off a career best at Saratoga on Aug. 29 when she was an easy gate-to-wire winner, going 6 furlongs for a $20K tag. Back in form following several layoffs and she draws a nice outside post for her style.
3rd pick: #5 (Bobby Jo) (4-1) - Since being claimed by trainer Bruce Brown for $15000 on March 20th at Gulfstream, filly has gone 6-1-3-2, and last out at Saratoga she won a 5.5 furlong sprint that was switched to the dirt. She's dangerous in her current form.
4th pick: #2 (House On Toilsome) (8-1) - No-speed type runs second back from almost an eight week break and she rallied to finish second in a small field (5) at Saratoga on Sept. 1. Her overall dirt record is fine 19-2-5-4, but she'll need some pace help for anything more than a minor award.
