Top pick: #5 (MISTER WOOLMAN) (8-5) - Colt stretches out a furlong after a pair of useful efforts at Saratog going 7 furlongs facing a bit better. He meets a very poor group in this spot and a repeat of either "Spa" "figure" best these.
2nd pick: #4 (Shertzer) (5-2) - No-speed type rallied to finish third here at this tag racing on the turf Sept. 7. Veteran has some back class and against this weak field is a stretch threat.
3rd pick: #7 (Hamme Dancer) (6-1) - One-paced type goes turf to dirt and drops down a bit after a wide and even effort on the Saratoga lawn on Aug. 23. He was only 4 1/2 back of "Woolman" in a July 28th dirt race and can impact today at a square price.
