Top pick: #4 (MASTER YANK) (5-2) - Lightly-raced, speedy, and improving, gelding ships back from Finger Lakes where he was an easy maiden winner going a two-turn mile facing special weights Aug. 26. It was his first since being claimed by Abigail Adsit for $20K on July 6th and he's run well here in the past without winning. His speed gives him the edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Strueves Star) (3-1) - Well bred gelding enters off a maiden win here at this trip for a $20K tag on Sept. 5. Claimed that afternoon by Linda Rice, she moves him up slightly and this 3-year-old is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Ice Wagon) (6-1) - Price play stretches back out after finishing fourth here at this level going 6.5-furlongs on Sept. 6. He's gone 8-1-2-3 on the dirt and is 4-0-1-2 locally. Stalker can impact in this spot.
4th pick: #8 (Q Two) (8-1) - He has a bit of speed and is dropping back down in price and switching from turf to dirt. May grab a share, but lightly raced colt needs to step it up quite a bit for anything more than that.
