Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (STAY TUNED) (2-1) - The probable favorite, lightly-raced home-bred has finished second in all three starts since breaking his maiden April 10 at Keeneland. All of those came facing tougher and trainer Wayne Catalano will drop him into a $50K claimer for this attempt. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Bird Prince) (10-1) - He's finished behind 'Stay Tuned' in his last pair, but draws a good post to use his speed/stalking style from. Price play is lightly raced, well bred, and takes the same drop in class as the top pick.
3rd pick: #2 (Silver Ride) (5-2) - Grey colt was never involved after breaking slowly Aug 29 at Philly Park in an entry-level allowance. He fits with his best and is dropping into a claimer for the first time.
4th pick: #7 (Sir Rockport) (5-1) - Grey gelding ships from Delaware where he's raced evenly in his last pair of first-level allowances. He draws a nice outside post and it's noted that Castellano is aboard. Unless this 3-year-old steps it up, a minor award is his ceiling.
